There are habits that many of us do daily that have unexpected risks at bedtime. Avoiding these habits, will protect you and yours from unfortunate incidents in the middle of the night. They also ensure that you can sleep much better and calmer, getting the benefits of a restful sleep.

STOP DRINKING WATER BEFORE YOU GO TO BED.
If you drink some water 1 to 2 hours before going to bed, you will wake up at least 2 or 3 times to go to the bathroom.
KEEP ELECTRONIC DEVICES AWAY FROM YOUR BED.
Scrolling on your phone before going to bed, can have a very negative effect, because the brightness from the screen prevents the brain from falling asleep.
NOT HAVING A BEDTIME ROUTINE.
Avoid the routine for sleeping at any time of the day. Make a reliable routine and time of your sleeping, so that your brain will be prepared accordingly.
DON´T SLEEP ON A LOW QUALITY MATTRES.
Quality mattresses are very important for a good night sleep. You will wake up rested and energized.
AVOID CERTAIN SLEEPING POSITIONS.
To avoid sore back and shoulder or neck pain, avoid sleeping on your back and stomach. Try to sleep on your side.
